Tom to teach a Permaculture Design Certificate course in Vanuatu!

After unfortunately having to cancel our PDC course here in Australia, we were fortunate that Tom was asked to teach a Permaculture Design Certificate course in Vanuatu. ADRA, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, has several projects in Vanuatu with people who need Permaculture training.

Tom leaving to teach a Permaculture Design Certificate in Vanuatu.
Tom all packed up and ready… and no more dreadlocks!!

Tom will be in Vanuatu for just over 3 weeks, he will visit and advise on existing project sites, teach a two week Permaculture Design Certificate course and stay on for a further few days to give the participants of the course some practical experience on one of the project sites. The photo here shows him loading up to go! And yes, he did cut off his dreads!!

Please stay tuned for more articles on the Vanuatu experience.

  1. Hi Alejandra,
The course starts on the 28th April, however it is only for ADRA volunteers and employees. Sorry about that! We have another Permaculture Design Certificate course coming up here in Australia on the 23rd of June if you are interested.

  2. Vanuatu is a great place. Tanna Island is full of wonderful people and is such a special place. Enjoy yourself over there Tom. After seeing Zaytuna yesterday I’m keen to see all the great things you’re doing in Kin kin. ~Rohan
